Mission capabilities include: long range high altitude intercepts; long range attack missions and close support missions.An automatic low altitude terrain following system enhances penetration capability.Power is provided by two RB199-34R axial-flow, three-spool. Turbofan engines equipped with afterburners and thrust reversers.
