It is located in the southern part of the city and is one of four airports in Mexico that has a Control Area Center (Centro MΓ©rida), the others being at the Mexico City International Airport, Monterrey International Airport and the International Airport. from MazatlΓ‘n. The airport handles both domestic and international flights and is open 24 hours a day.
