Description 

 Curvelo is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Minas Gerais, in the Southeast region of the country. It is located in the central region of the State and at its airport is the Operational Base of the Prevention Task Force, responsible for developing activities to prevent and fight forest fires in conservation units under the responsibility of the State, in areas of relevant ecological interest or in forest areas that put people's safety, the environment and citizens' assets at risk. As it is located in the central region of the state, Curvelo is a strategic point for the operations of the Prevencêndio Task Force.
